Severe
weather can strike anywhere in America with little warning. The Lowcountry,
including Beaufort, Hunting Island, Parris Island and Hilton Head
Island are no exception. In fact, some weather such as severe thunderstorms
happen around here with little warnings at all. Tornadoes, floods,
heat and cold can cause life threatening situations at any time. As
a paramedic in the Beaufort area, I have unfortunately witnessed the
grim results from severe weather and hope the information contained
herein helps prevent any further loss of life or limb. If anything
